Shonduras and his wife, Jenny McBride, shared footage of her rolling down a steep slope after she fell while hiking with her family in Hawaii, according to a report by the Daily Mail.
Jenny was several steps behind Shonduras while trekking along the Road to Hana in Maui earlier in the week.
In the background, you can see Jenny slipping. Then, she tumbles down the slope, stopping at the beach below.
“Jenny, Jenny!” Shonduras can be heard shouting. “Oh my gosh!”
“Don’t move my arm; don’t move my arm!” Jenny yells. Then, she tells Shonduras that she’s okay.
Jenny has some scrapes and bruises after her fall that are visible as she takes a moment to hug her daughter, Adley.
After a short rest, Jenny is able to continue on the hike, according to a note in the video’s caption.
While discussing the incident in the video, Jenny bursts into tears.
“I remember turning and trying to grab – sorry,” she says.
“Trying to grab anything,” Jenny adds., “’Cause I literally thought I was going to die.”
“It sure changes your perspective. Even the littlest things shouldn’t bother you cause you never know, life could change in a split second.”
Shonduras called the footage “one of the craziest videos we’ve put on this channel,” which also features a significant amount of footage of the friends reacting to video of the fall.
“Your whole world can change in a matter of seconds. Mine almost did,” Shonduras wrote. “A good reminder to be grateful for every moment of it. The good and the bad. The happy and the sad. Because you’re here. Make each day your best day ever.”
However, many social media made fun of the video, releasing a series of gifs and memes labeled, “My wife fell off a cliff.”
Other users simply slammed the couple, accusing them of dramatizing the fall in a bid to get more views or clicks.
