A 74 year old man is dead, leaving behind a disabled wife, after asking a woman on a bus to “be nicer” to other passengers.
The incident occurred on a bus in Las Vegas, Nevada. Police has released surveillance video from the bus showing the deadly altercation.
Cadesha Michelle Bishop, 25, was allegedly being belligerent and yelling at other passengers on the bus. Serge Fournier, 74, reportedly asked Bishop to be nicer to the other riders.
Surveillance video then shows Bishop shoving Fournier as he went to get off the bus.
According to a police report, Bishop shoved Fournier hard enough that he fell from the bus without contacting any of the steps and his head landed on the pavement about 8 feet from the bus door, killing him.
According to a report from the Daily Mail:
‘No matter what his age, she should not have done that. People need a little more patience than what they have these days,’ said the man’s neighbor, Trevor Taylor.
Taylor asserted that Fournier was a ‘wonderful person’ and shared that he would never forget his friend.
‘He was an excellent neighbor. Very nice, religious person,’ he added.
‘I know it caused several financial problems for his wife,’ said Ken Mallen, who was familiar with the couple.
