Footage of an airplane passenger struggling to store their carry-on luggage in an overhead bin quickly went viral after it made its way onto social media. The man repeatedly attempted to place the bag in the compartment incorrectly, and a fellow passenger filmed the funny yet frustrating saga as it unfolded.

“Seriously, how do people like this survive in the world?!” read the caption on the video, which was posted on Twitter by Larry Lee, according to a report by Fox News.

In the video, the unnamed male passenger can be seen fighting with his luggage as he tries to shove it into the overhead compartment.

He has the bag perched on its side, making it obviously too tall to fit into the bin. Instead of reorienting the piece of luggage, the man continues to push and shove, as though brute force can magically make it fit.

After multiple unsuccessful attempts, a female flight attendant approaches. She points out that the man’s luggage is turned the wrong way, making it impossible for it to fit in the provided space.

Once the man is informed of the proper way to store his luggage, he rotates the bag, allowing it to slide into the compartment.

The video then shows a woman who is clearly amused by what she had witnessed.

Other Twitter users were somewhat divided when it came to reacting to the footage. One woman stated, “Did you think about offering to help? Or did you just record and laugh? I’m a frequent flyer but I get that not everyone is.”

Another user responded to that comment, saying, “What Debbie?! I’m a frequent flyer as well; but what does that have to do with pure common sense. This was hilarious – laugh a little darlin.”

Since being posted last Thursday, the video has been viewed over 10.4 million times and received more than 9,400 comments.
