Stefun Wyatt, a full time college student with a job who also finds time to run two, small non-profits, spent the last several years eating microwave dinners and saving every penny he could.

No, he wasn’t trying to save up for some elaborate purchase for himself or put himself through college (although he was doing that as well). No Wyatt wanted to help his grandparents.

On Easter Sunday Wyatt presented his grandparents with a $15,000 “check”. The money was enough to pay off their mortgage four years early and send them both on a trip to the Bahamas.

“I couldn’t believe it,” said Marilyn Roberts, Stefun’s grandmother. “To have a grandson like that is a blessing.”

“He’s a very special kid and I just love having him in my life,” said Cecil Roberts, Stefun’s grandfather.
