This is one of those videos that’s perfect for a day like today. It will take your mind off of the politics and derision and show you what’s most important. It shows a small boy, a toddler, who has found a soulmate on the other side of a wooden fence. The big dog is all to eager to help entertain the boy, so long as he throws the ball back.
“In this super sweet clip, Chad Nelson’s two-year-old son is seen playing fetch with the neighbor’s dog in Savage, Minnesota, despite the divide between them,” Daily Mail writes.
The boy is hardly old enough to throw the ball over the fence. The dog, though, is hardly big enough to get it back over.
He sticks his head up, just enough to spit it back over the fence.
The boy, eagerly waiting for the dog to throw it back, can’t contain his excitement.
The footage was filmed in Savage, Minnesota. Conway, the boy, has been playing with Dozer for some time.
Nelson posted the clip Wednesday with the caption: “A fence can’t stop my two-year-old from playing with his new best friend.”
“The video was recorded by Erin Richter, who invited Mr Nelson’s son Conway over for a play date when he started the game with the neighbor’s dog Dozer,” DM notes.
“‘My son and Dozer play every time they are both outside,” Richter writes.
“Dozer would play forever but my son usually stops when the ball gets full of slobber. Sometimes Dozer will bring a new ball over then to keep playing.”
The little boy doesn’t seem to mind the slobber. If the video is any indication, both the boy and the dog could play this game for a very long time without tiring .
