Kids can be so cute. Talented precocious little beasts that they are. And this segment from So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation would have been a perfect example, until the little contestant could no longer contain her enthusiasm–literally.

Twelve-year-old contestant Chi Tahani nailed it. She danced to Beyoncé’s “Countdown.”
You can’t help but smile. Not only can she dance, but she Tahani has some pretty athletic moves, too. She opened the routine with a nonchalant flip.
And then she begins to make some epic faces. Even from the distant perspective of the audience, the purposeful shock and surprise on her face is clear–and hilarious.
When the short routine is over, she doesn’t have to wait long for a reaction. The audience explodes and the judges leap up with the tickets.
Tahani is so floored by their fervor that she falls to the floor in astonishment.
Here’s where it gets good. She leaps up, and runs to hug the judges.
She hugged Nigel. That went fine. And then she hugged Paula Abdul, who told Tahani “I’m so proud of you.”
And then the dam broke. As Abdul hugged the little girl, she hurled. And hurled big. She hurled on national television, and on Paula Abdul.
“It’s OK, honey,” Abdul told Tahani, as cameras continued to roll. She joked that she’d “never had anyone just vomit on me like that.”
How Tahani handled it was even better.
Instead of crying, or getting embarrassed beyond belief, Tahani smiles and moves on. She takes the tickets and runs out the doors, just like she’s been cued to do. After, when she was being interviewed, Tahani seemed totally relaxed by what had just happened.
“I hugged Nigel, and I hugged Paula. And she just squeezed me too tight. And all the happiness came out on her jacket.”
