On Friday evening, the United States was abuzz when the long-awaited report of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation was turned into Attorney General William Barr. The preliminary reports seemed to indicate that there will be no more indictments and that there wasn’t any evidence that President Trump colluded with Russia during the 2016 election.

Although Mueller’s investigation found no collusion according to Barr, he did not address whether President Trump had obstructed justice, a topic that many liberal celebrities were banking on. Celebrities such as Bette Midler, Alyssa Milano, Chelsea Handler, and George Takei all took to social media to express their displeasure with the results of the report.

Midler, who is an actress and singer, wrote: “No collusion. Soooooo….why did Trump spend an hour with Putin with no American in the room?? 26 Russian agents deported from U.S…but…no collusion…Ok. As they say in LA, suck it up and VOTE BLUE in 2020!!”

In a separate tweet, Midler gave her unfiltered opinion on the president. “TWO MORE YEARS OF CHAOS, RACE BAITING, GRIFTERS, CON ARTISTS, SHAME/FEAR. SAD,” it read in part.

It didn’t take long for other like-minded celebrities to jump on the same bandwagon. Comedian Chelsea Handler wrote: “I will admit my feelings for Mueller are conflicted now and my sexual attraction to him is in peril, but I still believe there is a lot more to come, and we must all march in the streets if we don’t see that report.”

Actor George Takei tweeted: “If William Barr summarized Romeo and Juliet, he’d probably say that Romeo murdered Juliet’s cousin, was banished for it, and is now dead. Let’s wait to hear the full story.”

Comedian Sarah Silverman made fun of Trump’s excessive golfing with news of the report being released. “Great news that there was no collusion with Russia by [Trump]. Now he can focus on finding, disabling and punishing those who worked for Russia to attack the US election. Now THAT’s a National Emergency worth skipping golf for.”

The list of celebrities upset with the report’s results goes on and on. If anything, perhaps they can now leave the county since its evident Trump and his administration are not going anywhere.
