A group of female nursing home residents got a surprise that left their pulses racing for an entire dinner. After repeatedly asking the nursing home staff if they could be visited by “butlers in the buff,” the staff decided to oblige, setting up a three-course meal to be served by gentlemen from “Hunks in Trunks.”
The 11 elderly women, all residents at Milton Lodge – a nursing home in Colchester, Essex, England – were allowed to invite their daughters and granddaughters to join them, according to a report by the Daily Mail.
Along with their three-course meal, many of the women also received massages from some of the muscular men who make up the “Hunks in Trunks.”
According to Claire Martin, the Milton Lodge’s activities co-coordinator, Joan Corp, an 89-year-old resident, is the one who got the ball rolling on the event.
“Whenever you ask Joan what she wants that day she always says ‘a man,’” said Martin.
“So, we weren’t surprised when she wanted it to be her wish. We had a chat here, and everyone was really keen to support it.”
“We had a look online and found a company called Hunks in Trunks. When they turned up we had to let them know what we wanted them to do,” Martin continued. “They had a three-course meal with a roast dinner. The ladies’ daughters and granddaughters came.”
Martin added, “We asked them to do some harmless flirting, it doesn’t matter how old you are, so why not?”
Doll Jenkins, a 99-year-old who is the oldest resident at Milton Lodge, enjoyed herself so much that she plans to request another visit to celebrate her 100th birthday.
“The ladies were really excited, they had all been giggling, and they dressed up,” said Martin. “The butlers went around asking the ladies if they wanted a massage and they all said yes.”
‘After it had all finished, Doll told the staff she wanted them back for her 100th birthday, so we are going to have them back,” Martin confirmed. “They didn’t stop laughing the whole night; they absolutely loved it.”
