More bad news for fans of Douglas ‘FaZe Censor’ Martin. The professional gamer had aspirations of winning a championship playing “Call of Duty,” which is apparently a thing. As part of this quest, and to the delight of tabloids around the world, FaZe broke off a high profile relationship with his celebrity girlfriend, Yanet Garcia, so he could play video games. Only he didn’t win.
This is what I’ve sacrificed everything for. I waited so long for this moment right now. Let’s go.

The professional gamer didn’t win the championship. Some wondered if his loss would mean he might re-evaluate his life choices and try to get Garcia back, but he says he won’t. “No I do not want Yanet back” He tweeted.
And no I don’t want Yanet back please stop with the memes already. I’m a gamer and I’m winning champs in Black Ops 4 💯

“I came back this year and said I was winning (the) championship. I feel so bad. I really thought our team could do it.”
Yanet Garcia, dubbed the ‘World’s Sexiest Weather Girl’ seems to have taken the news in stride. When asked if she would take him back, she seemed certain. “No, I do not think so. I trust God. He has something else for me.”
When he ended the relationship earlier this summer, Martin took some heat. He filmed a 10 minute explanation that he posted to YouTube.

“Yanet and I are no longer in a relationship with each other anymore,” Martin began redundantly.
He then went on to state the obvious. “Yanet is an awesome girl, she deserves the best. She’s beautiful, she’s smart, she was an awesome girlfriend.”

Given these intangibles, many questioned his wisdom. “I know it sounds weird I’m saying all this…it’s just, I gotta do what feels right for me.”
Three years ago, what felt right was flying down to Mexico, specifically to meet Garcia. He did meet her, and the two began a relationship. She eventually moved back to New York to live with him for a year.

Garcia also has a career and moved back to Mexico City to focus on her acting and modeling.
“I supported her decision,” Martin said. “She wanted to be a supermodel actress – chase your dreams, life’s too short.”
“I’m playing Call of Duty full-time now and she wanted to take her job opportunity. I didn’t think it was going to be that difficult.”
“Back then it was a lot easier for me to go out and see her,” he said. “But now I have obligations.”
“I’m on a contract. It’s not like I don’t want to do this, this is the career that I want.”
“I want to win a ring, I want to win a world championship, what I want in my life at this very moment is to complete in Call of Duty because I love it so much.”
“I’m going to do whatever it takes to be a champion.”

“There’s only 24 hours in a day and I just didn’t have enough time to do what I needed to do,” he said.
Garcia, having lost in love to “Call of Duty,” will likely find someone new.
“Nunca escuches el consejo de una persona que no ha hecho nada bueno con su vida,” she tweeted. “Never listen to the advice of a person who has not done anything good with his life.”
