To many, the name Danielle Bregoli wouldn’t ring any bells at all, but that doesn’t mean they don’t know who she is. Bregoli rose to fame last year after her appearance alongside her mother on a segment of Dr. Phil entitled “I Want To Give Up My Car-Stealing, Knife-Wielding, Twerking 13-Year-Old Daughter Who Tried To Frame Me For A Crime.”
Bregoli seemed like yet another out-of-control teen that tends to populate daytime TV, one that on this occasion even stole a crew member’s car. Danielle didn’t appreciate the audience laughing at her during her Dr. Phil appearance and responded by threatening one audience member with “Catch me outside, how about that?”, her pronunciation becoming the meme “Cash Me Ousside Howbow Dah” and a career was born.
Danielle Bregoli now has her own clothing line and has released four singles, the first of which made her the youngest female rapper to debut on the Billboard chart. Her second single, “Hi Bich,” received over a million YouTube views in just 24 hours! Like any other rapper, Bregoli boasts about her possessions, such as her “white Porsche” and “foreign cars,” which is all a little unrealistic when you consider she is only 14 years old. However, these aren’t the issues concerning her father, Ira Peskowitz.
Peskowitz believes his daughter is now being encouraged to have underage sex by those in the highly sexualized rap industry, taking full advantage of her troubled background. He is also extremely critical of Danielle’s mother, Barbara Ann Bregoli, for allowing the young and extremely impressionable teen to associate with rappers whose motives are questionable to say the least.
“Why would her mother allow her to hang out with a guy so violent like Kodak Black, even the crimes he committed against others,” Peskowitz said of Danielle’s association with her collaborator on the song “Roll in Peace,” a man who is currently serving a five-year probation on sexual assault charges. “He’s the one who Skyped with Danielle and talked to her, telling her how to have sex with a guy who was coming over. People watch that, and they’re making money off of it”
Another rapper that has befriended Bregoli, NBA Youngboy, has been charged with first-degree murder and it has her father terrified for his 14-year-old daughter. “The biggest fear obviously is, besides her psychological and emotional well-being from being around these people and being exposed to their drugs, their cursing, their sex, I’m really concerned about retaliation,” Peskowitz continued. “Of possible drive-bys, possible violence. Her safety is number one and her emotional well-being is number two. It’s going to take a long time for Danielle to become a child again, if that ever happens”.
