Reports that Donald Trump might be short on big names and entertainers for his inauguration as the 45th President of The United States on January 19th have been circulating for awhile now. The Trump camp is pleased to say that this is simply not true.

Country superstars, Toby Keith and Lee Greenwood, will headline the historic event on January 19th at the Lincoln Memorial. The event which has been dubbed “The Make America Great Again! Welcome Celebration” will also include The Piano Guys and Three Doors Down. Actor Jon Voight is also scheduled to make an appearance.

Tom Barrack, the chairman of the Presidential Inaugural Committee, said in a press release: “President-elect Trump has made it clear that this inaugural is of, by, and for the American people. The 58th Inaugural will celebrate American history and heritage, while setting the course to a brighter and bolder future for all Americans.”

Barrack added, “Above all, it will serve as tribute to one of our greatest attributes, the peaceful transition of partisan power.”

Greenwood, who is thrilled to be performing for at Trump’s inauguration, commented on the news: “I’m honored to be part of history again and sing for President-elect Donald Trump….“This is a time to overcome challenges in our country and band together.”

Many entertainers and musicians have supposedly refused to play at Trump’s inauguration event. Of course, Hollywood has been vocal in their opposition to Trump and his presidency.

To use Obama’s 2009 inauguration as an example, the 44th president had Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Mary J. Blige, Garth Brooks, U2, Usher, Stevie Wonder, Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks, among others.

“America’s Got Talent” runner-up Jackie Evancho, was the first to go against the grain and accepted Trump’s gracious offer to perform for the American people. She told CBS News, “I hope to just kind of make everyone forget about rivals and politics for a second and just think about America and the pretty song that I’m singing.”

Here’s to the stars who followed Evancho’s lead and are honored to be a part of Making America Great Again!
