Traffic stops can be stressful for all involved. Just ask this University of Central Arkansas student who was pulled over by campus police recently. The whole incident was captured on video, and it has a surprising ending.

“As soon as I got to the stoplight and had to brake I knew I was going to get pulled over,” said Blayk Puckett. Puckett was reportedly driving home from the campus library Friday night. Friday night. At the library. Somehow, I doubt the UCA cops were buying his story.
“I had a brake light out and so I’m driving very carefully, trying to be as careful as I can not to do anything wrong because I knew my brake light was out,” Puckett said.
But that’s enough to get pulled over. UCA police sergeant Keith McKay pulled him over.
The license plate on puckett’s car read “JUGGLER.”
“A lot of times, especially around a college campus, the later in the night it gets, the slower they go and especially if they almost hit a curb once it’s a typical indication they might be impaired,” McKay said. So McKay pulled Puckett over, just to be sure there was no chance he’d been driving under the influence.
McKay showed him the busted taillight.
He must have tried to poke holes in the Friday-night-at-the-library story, too, as Puckett looks defensive.
But then it came time to prove he hadn’t been drinking.
“I knew I could prove I hadn’t been drinking – especially with juggling clubs in the back seat. It’s just more fun when you can juggle and have more fun with the officers than a standard traffic stop that’s boring and scary,” he said. “I try to make as much fun as I can but this was absolutely the most fun I’ve had any time I’m treated to that.”
Here’s the highlight reel:
The full video of the traffic stop, for those who might want to see just how the whole thing unfolded, is here. There’s no audio, sadly.
