According to several news reports as well as the Trump campaign, prosecutors are going to make a major announcement about the fate of campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.
According to most reports, including POLITICO, Lewandowski will not be prosecuted for the misdemeanor charge of simple battery.
An official statement from the prosecutor’s office is expected to be delivered sometime tomorrow.
Fields responded to the leaked reports on Twitter:
Prosecutor's office told me they would inform me of decision tomorrow. If reports true, guess they decided to leak to reporters first. Ugly.

For those asking, office of prosecutor asked 2 weeks ago if I'd be ok with an apology from Corey. I said ya but haven't heard back about it

Lewandowski originally claimed that he never touched then Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields as she attempted to ask Donald Trump a question. However, security camera footage (below) later showed Lewandowski grabbing Fields’ arm. Fields claim the contact was hard enough to leave bruises. The footage was enough for police to press charges against Lewandowski
