Shocking video has emerged showing Paul Bashi, a 35-year-old bodybuilder, viciously beating his girlfriend, 22-year-old Kristina Perry. The rampage, captured on film by a security camera inside his rented home, began after Bashi looked at his Perry’s phone. It carried on for around 40 minutes, during which time Bashi kicked and stabbed Perry, striking her over 100 times.

The incident took place at Bashi’s rented home in Macomb County, Michigan, last month, according to a report by the Daily Mail.

Bashi was examining Perry’s phone moments before Perry walked into the room.

Upon seeing her, Bashi flies into a rage and starts attacking her with household objects, including a chair.

In the video, Bashi can be seen kicking, punching, and hurling lit candles at Perry.

Pam Mclean, a Macomb County investigator stated that Bashi stabbed Perry “multiple times” during the assault, adding that Bashi repeatedly opens drawers to grab more knives.

“He comes back multiple times with multiple knives,” Mclean stated.

“She’s just lying there,” Mclean added. “Not fighting back or moving at all.”

Neighbors later found Perry on the porch and contacted local authorities.

Perry was brought to the hospital and subsequently spent several days in a coma.

After Perry recovered from the coma, she attended Bashi’s arraignment, taking the witness stand and asking that the charges be dropped. She claimed the attack was her fault.

“She told the judge she wanted the defendant out of jail and told the judge that it was her fault this happened,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Eric Smith.

Even after her plea, the charges were not dropped. Bashi faces charges of attempted murder and is being held in jail on a $5 million bond.

Prosecutors believe that Bashi’s attorneys will claim that “roid rage” played a part in the attack.
