Presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke has been mocked pretty much universally online after posting what can only be described as one of the weirder live stream videos posted by a presidential candidate in recent history.

O’Rourke streamed himself getting a haircut for nearly twenty minutes at a campaign stop while he spoke in Spanish to the man cutting his hair.
O’Rourke went as far as to comment on his ear hair during one of the awkward silences that was present in the video saying, ‘We’re cutting out some of this ear hair that you get when you get older. It grows out of your ears, and if you don’t get it cut, it can be nasty.’
Not surprisingly, the live stream resulted in many online criticisms that alluded to Beto being out of touch and making another campaign misstep.
The comments didn’t stop there though.
At one point in the video, a man enters the barber shop and after talking with Beto, admits that he doesn’t know who he is, but “recognizes him.” Beto explains that he’s running for president.
The misstep comes just a few weeks after a Vanity Fair article and cover shoot that was widely criticized after Beto essentially said he was running for president “To be in it.”
‘You can probably tell that I want to run,’ he said in the interview. ‘I do. I think I’d be good at it.’
‘I want to be in it. Man, I’m just born to be in it, and want to do everything I humanly can for this country at this moment,’ O’Rourke told the magazine.
