We’ve all had those nights where it’s all simply a blur. You don’t remember how you got home, nor do you recall what really happened the night before. All you remember is having a good time and then darkness. Throw in an Uber ride across states and you have yourself an interesting story.

Kenny Bachman had a night to remember, or in this case, a night trying to remember what happened. Bachman went out with his friends while he was visiting in West Virginia. The New Jersey native ended up blacking out and being left with a $1,635.93 Uber bill.
In his drunken state, he somehow managed to order an Uber. Bachman woke up two hours into his drive wonder where he was heading and what was exactly happening.
“I just woke up,” Bachman told NJ.com. “And I’m thinking, ‘Why the f**k am I in the car next to some random ass dude I don’t even know?”
Instead of telling the driver to stop, he thought he would just roll the dice and see where he ended up. “[W]hat am I, just going to get dropped off on the side of the road?” Bachman told the outlet. “Once the ride ended and I saw how much it was when I was like, ‘Alright, this is insane, that’s just crazy.’”
As if matters couldn’t get any worse than receiving a $1,600 Uber bill, Bachman accidentally ordered an Uber XL, which was almost double the price of a normal Uber, Gizmodo reported.
Realizing what he had just done, Bachman didn’t get irate or tell the driver to take him back. Instead, he gave the Uber driver a 5-star rating and took the money out of an ATM at a CVS. He also gave the driver additional money for all the toll booths he was going to have to drive back through.
Moral of the story: don’t get blackout drunk and Uber through multiple states. Unless you can afford it.
