Don’t leaves those Halloween spiders decorations up to long, especially if you live in Logan, West Virginia. County prosecutor John Bennett reports that his assitant prosecutor Chris White was suspended for threatening fake spiders with his gun.
The decorations had been put up by the office seceratary on October 5th. Chris White, apparently arachnophobic, objected repeatedly.

“He said they had spiders everyplace and he said he told them it wasn’t funny, and he couldn’t stand them,” Logan County Prosecutor John Bennett told WCHS.

Chris White had been working without incident for five years, and Bennett says he has no intention of firing the attorney. He has, however, sent a memo through the office banning firearms from the offcie except in gun related investigations.
