A film on display as part of the “Armatus Corpus” exhibit at the Military Museum, Castles of Morges, Switzerland, pits a firefighter, soldier, and knight against one another in an obstacle course race. Since the full complement of gear weighs about the same, the filmmakers decided to see who would perform best on the run and film the results.

Each participant was set to run the course twice. The first run had them wearing a lighter complement of gear.
After round one, here were the results.
The second run was completed in full gear.
Once all of the gear was in place, the added load to their body weight was calculated.
Each participant ran the course individually, demonstrating their level of fitness as well as comfort with their personal set of “armor.”

In the end, an overall winner was determined.
The competition appeared to be all in good fun.
