Since being revived, ABC’s “Roseanne” has been a smash hit with thousands of viewers tuning in every Tuesday at 8 pm. Viewers are thrilled to see the cast get back together, however, it seems the show may have one trick up its sleeve that has fans going crazy — David and Bev are returning.

The episode titled “Darlene v. David,” which airs April 17 is welcoming back David, who is played by Johnny Galecki, and Roseanne’s mother Beverly, who is played by Estelle Parsons.
“David unexpectedly shows up for Harris’ birthday after being absent for years, forcing Darlene to re-examine their relationship along with the rest of the family, according to an episode synopsis. “Meanwhile, Bev temporarily moves into the Conner home after an incident at the nursing home prevents her from returning.”
For any longtime viewers of the show, you know that getting these two under the same roof is bound to cause some explosions. According to Pop Culture, David returning to the show was originally teased to fans back in March.
During the teaser, David enters Darlene’s room and says: “They kept everything exactly the same as it was when you guys were kids.” Without missing a beat, Darlene replies with, “It’s a decorating choice called poverty.”
The 90-year-old Parsons agreed to come back to the show for a two-episode run back in December last year. There has yet to be any teasers showing Parson reprising her role of Roseanne’s mother long term, but as the episode nears, you can bet fans will clamor for it.
The show, which isn’t afraid to highlight conservative values since re-airing, has been a massive success. Weeks after the revival airing of the show, ABC announced on Friday that they had renewed the show for its 11th season. UPI reported the show averages 22 million viewers every Tuesday.
