Joffrey. Cersei. Walder Frey… and a reporter from the Daily Mail? Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams lashed out at the Daily Mail after the tabloid website ran a salacious headline that didn’t actually fit the facts.

The website ran a collection of photos of Williams at the Summer Masquerade Ball for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and then gave it quite the eye-opening headline: “Unveiled:Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams goes braless in sheer lace dress and quirky headpiece at charity masquerade ball.”

That was obviously not the type of headline the 19-year-old was expecting to see after taking the time to go to a charity ball to raise money for battered children.

So, much like her brash character on Game of Thrones, Williams took on the paper directly – offering them an alternative headline that fits the events better.

Fans quickly swarmed to the message, with universal support for the immensely popular actress, sharing her message with their own messages of support and attacks on the media.
