He’s been a Ranger and a Green Beret, fought on multiple continents, and received numerous awards – and now he’s sharing his rules of a gunfight with you. [Scroll Down For Video]
Terrance Popp runs a YouTube channel called Redonkulus where he goes off on anything and everything that crosses his mind.
So, in this video, Popp tells us his rules for a gunfight. Of course, the video starts off with some of Popp’s shower thoughts such as thinking he might be able to dodge .50 caliber tracer rounds during a firefight in Panama. Good times.
With gems like “When two way rifle range combat starts, the fun factor goes to zero and the suck factor skyrockets because Hollywood lied to you”, it’s an entertaining video on a serious subject from someone who knows what the heck he’s talking about.
Plus, how can you argue with a Greenie Beanie when it’s clearly beer o’clock?
Of course, we can all agree that the first rule of a gunfight is “Have a gun.” Makes sense, right? As Popp says, “This is not The Matrix and you will not dodge those bullets.”
Rule 2: Bring friends. Preferably friends with guns. Friends with guns are fellow gunfighters. Friends without guns are, well, we’ll affectionately call them “meat shields”.
And of course, one of my favorite rules, make sure you use a long gun. As Popp says, “If you are in a firefight and you have to pull out your pistol, you have made a possible fatal error and you will more than likely die.” Well, that’s no good.
