Most professional athletes seem to curate their on-field images carefully. When the cameras are rolling, they perform. Yet when the cameras aren’t rolling, some end up making news for all the wrong reasons. This isn’t one of those cases. This is the story of a an NFL player who has his head on straight.
Mohamed Sanu is an Atlanta Falcon. The wide receiver was traveling to a spring football game at Rutgers a passenger on the plane he was on handed him a note.
And no, she wasn’t hitting on him.
This definitely put a smile on my face. ☺️ the little things. pic.twitter.com/OFKpwcho5H

“You don’t know us, but we wanted to thank you,” the letter began. “Our son sat behind you on this flight ans watched you. He saw you studying your plays, watched you make healthy choices with your snacks, food and drink. He watched how polite you were to everyone. He is only 10 but just made an elite hockey team and we are on our way to training in CT. You are an inspiration to children and for that you should be proud! Thank you and best of luck.”
Sanu is known for his aggressive mental game on the field, which includes taunts and trash-talking that has defined his persona. Yet off the field, it looks like Sanu is a completely different persona.
