Well, Super Tuesday 3 aka Mini Super Tuesday, certainly isn’t disappointing in the headlines department. We currently have projections from all major news outlets for the GOP races in both Ohio and Florida – two key, winner-take-all states in regards to delegate allocation.

It is predicted that Donald Trump will win the state of Florida and underdog John Kasich will win his home state of Ohio.

Trump is also currently leading in Illinois, North Carolina, and Missouri. Trump also won the Northern Mariana Islands contest earlier today.

Following the announcement on Florida, Senator Marco Rubio has announced that he will suspend his campaign.

Rubio told supporters, ‘While we are on the right side, this year, we will not be on the winning side.’

It will be interesting to see how the math works out on the delegate count shakes out from here. Unless Trump can start winning large margins over Cruz in the remaining contests we will likely be heading into an open convention with no candidate obtaining a majority of delegates needed to secure the nomination.
