HBO’s political talk show Real Time with Bill Maher has given a voice to those that like satire while still receiving news from around the world. During the latest episode of CNN’s, The Messy Truth, Maher shows how little patience he has with Trump and his supporters.

A Trump supporter raises a question to Maher that puts him right over the edge. Maher gives what many consider a rude answer to the Republican supporter. The unnamed man asked why doesn’t the media and Hollywood give trump a chance since he has only been in office three weeks.
What ensued after was an aggressive verbal attack towards the unsuspecting audience members. “Because of what he’s done!” Maher retorted back. The Trump supporter calmly replied, “But it’s only been three weeks.”
The man reminded Maher that Trump’s job “is the toughest on earth,” an answer that Maher quickly shoots down in a whirlwind of rapid-fire responses.
“It’s a giant con, what he’s done,” Maher said. “He ran for the ‘little man.’ And then what does he do? He gets into office, the coal companies can dump sludge in the river. Because, you know, that’s what the ‘little man’ is aching for.”
He continues his furious response by adding: “Undoing Dodd-Frank, because so many of the town halls in Appalachia, people were standing up and saying, ‘Mr. Trump, please get rid of the Volcker Rule, because if I can’t make certain speculative investments, it’s killing us here!’”
The HBO host was only warming up, Maher then went as far as to imply that Trump has no business in the White House and is somebody that just makes things up out of thin air.
“It’s beyond politics, it’s about sanity,” the 61-year-old said. “It’s about somebody who makes stuff up, who doesn’t read. His information is either anecdotal, or pulled out of his… behind.” Shortly after, the show’s host, Van Jones, couldn’t hold his composure and just laughs right in the face of the man asking the question.
The two cackle while the man sits and just takes the verbal onslaught of abuse coming from Maher. The video cuts out before it shows what the man does after, but it is assumed he quietly sits down after being humiliated. There is no surprise that this show was picked up by CNN.
