Conservative pundit Tomi Lahren has always dismissed ObamaCare as a failure, claiming the program was in a “death spiral” and should be abolished. However, in a debate on Saturday at Politicon, when Lahren and her opponent, liberal comedian Chelsea Handler,  discussed health care, Lahren admitted that she was still on her parent’s health insurance — thanks to the program she so despises.

“Luckily, I am 24, so I am still on my parents’ plan,” Lahren said. The crowd immediately realized the irony in her statement as one of the key features of ObamaCare allows children under the age of 26 to stay on their parent’s insurance.

The crowd was stunned to hear that the health care Lahren loves to bash is the reason she even has health care. Handler, surprisingly acting as a mediator in the moment, told the crowd to “Stop, she is being honest.”

People in the crowd weren’t the only ones who found humor in the situation. Commenters on Twitter had an absolute field day with her admission with one person posting: “If I were reading a book with this level of irony, I’d throw it across the room for being lazy af.”

This is not the first time that Lahren has offered a politically confused argument while speaking. In an interview with The View, Lahren declared she was pro-choice.

“I am someone that loves the Constitution. I am someone that is for limited government. So I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think that the government should decide what women do with their bodies,” Lahren said. “Stay out of my guns, and you can stay out of my body as well.”

That statement later led to her being fired as the host of the conservative show The Blaze.

If Lahren is having trouble figuring out which way she leans politically, maybe it would be best if she didn’t say anything for awhile. At least until she figures it out.
