After a car accident in California, one driver told the police that he caused the accident in the name of Allah and because Donald Trump continues to treat immigrants poorly.

Driver Ameer Abbaf Fakhraldin (pictured below) rammed into a car driven by Scott Alcala, an Afghanistan war. Alcala had driven in from Fresno to San Jose to play golf with his father. It is unclear if Fakhraldin knew Alcala was a veteran.

“I saw the Suburban coming right at me about to T-bone right into the driver door and I thought that was it. A second later I turned my head and just smashed into the barrier,” Alcala told the station.

An off-duty officer who responded to the accident spoke with both people. That’s when Fakhraldin told the officer that he’d caused the accident in the name of Allah. He didn’t immediately claim allegiance to either ISIS or Alquida. Instead, he began disparaging Donald Trump’s treatment of immigrants.

It only got more strange. Fakhraldin claimed his own speed before the accident was 200 mph. He claimed he caused the crash using his telekinetic powers to control the steering.

Alcala, who knows first hand about terrorists, said he thinks Fakhraldin’s actions constitute an act of terrorism.

“He was just trying to target as many people as he could,” Alcala said. “He was just trying to cause a pile up. It wasn’t me personally. It was as if someone were to throw a bomb in the middle of downtown, it’s no different, it’s the same thinking.”

“Coming back from Afghanistan, thinking I’m on home soil I’m safe now . . . just shouldn’t have to worry about something like that, you know.”

Police, worried about the telekinetic powers Fakhraldin might poses, arrested him, but he has since been released. His attack has not yet been claimed by any known terrorist camps, or the Clinton campaign team.
