Fox News host Megyn Kelly and activist Al Sharpton had a tense, on-air exchange about the Black Lives Matter movement, Freddie Gray and Ferguson last night. [Scroll Down For Video]
Sharpton doubled down on the behavior of protestors in Ferguson and other locations in the approximately four minute interview.
Kelly wanted Sharpton to back down on his previous comments about Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Mike Brown. The Justice Department found that Wilson did not violate Brown’s civil rights. A local grand jury also found that Wilson was not in the wrong for the shooting.
Wilson ended up resigning his position anyway, citing his inability to carry out his job due to ongoing protests and harassment.
The interview ended when Sharpton grabbed Kelly’s microphone and put it back in her face, turning a question around on her.
