Four adult entertainers were arrested and charged with murder after investigators claim they killed, then robbed, a 55-year-old man who helped them with a flat tire on Aug 1. The good Samaritan allowed the women to stay in his home while he fixed their tire, but when an argument apparently began between them, he was shot.

Brittany Curry, 28, Ponesha Taylor, 23, Johniesha Simmons, 19, and Lauteshia Dotson, 23, have all been charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon, according to Missouri law enforcement.

The victim, Ralph Cross, apparently allowed the women into his home while the 55-year-old went out to buy them a new tire with his own money.

A witness, who was heading towards his house, overheard arguing in Cross’ house and heard a noise that resembled a gunshot. The witness then claimed he saw one of the four women in the vehicle while the other three were inside.

As the women left the residence, the witness heard one of the women say the victim was “tripping and do not go back down there.”

After he was reported missing, police found Cross in his home with a gunshot wound to the back. Investigators feel robbery was the motive for the killing. According to police, the house was ransacked, and Cross’ pockets were turned inside out.

Per reports from KFVS 12, investigators believe Curry, the oldest one of the group, killed Cross. Surveillance footage tied the women’s car to the scene.

After a warrant was issued for the four women’s arrests, they turned themselves in two days after the murder. They say they want to tell their side of the story. According to The New York Daily News, all four of the women deny any involvement in the murder.

All of the women are being held in separate facilities in the effort to minimize their collaboration on a potentially false story.
