Roger Pion has become a bit of an internet legend after he committed an act of vandalism so extreme, that it made nearly every news outlet in the country.

While Roger’s story is several years old, originally taking place in 2012, thanks to social media, the story is generating renewed interest.

Pion apparently drove his father’s massive tractor to the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office and used the farm vehicle to completely crush eight cars causing around $300,000 in damages.

The motive for the crime appears to be revenge. Pion was apparently angry about a recent marijuana arrest and wanted some payback.

While you would think something like this would be an open and shut case, Pion hasn’t, and won’t, be serving any jail time for this act.

According to a 2014 report, Pion will not be prosecuted because he was deemed to be insane at the time of the incident.

Since the incident, Pion has become something of a folk hero to some people on the internet and the subject of brutal jokes by others. One thing is clear by the resurfacing of this story three years later, Pion has secured a permanent spot in the realm of viral news.
