The footage, originally shared on social media, shows a classroom during the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida.

Multiple rounds of shots can be heard, as students in the classroom huddle on the floor, trying to remain safe as the incident unfolds.

Screams can be heard echoing through the space, as well as students shouting, “Oh my God, Oh my God,” as the shots continue to ring out.

The video is captioned, “Our ******* school is getting shot up.”

The shooter is currently in custody, and was being taken to an area hospital. At this time, 14 victims were also transported to area hospitals for treatment, and “multiple fatalities” have been reported.

According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect is “not a current student.”

News outlets have identified the shooter as 19-year-old Nicholas Cruz, who is a former student and previously participated in the school’s JROTC program. Though local law enforcement have not confirmed his identity, a law enforcement source did assert that Cruz was the suspect.

According to a report by the Miami Herald, some believed that Cruz was troubled.

“We were told last year that he wasn’t allowed on campus with a backpack on him,” said math teacher Jim Gard, who said Cruz had been in his class last year. “There were problems with him last year threatening students, and I guess he was asked to leave campus.”
