Longtime conservative and founder of The Blaze, Glenn Beck has shocked many in the Republican party by endorsing Democratic Nominee Hillary Clinton.

Beck has been very vocal in his dislike for Clinton through this year’s election but now he seemingly has had a change of heart. Beck has endorsed Clinton, citing it as a “moral choice.”

The outspoken Republican has had enough of Trump’s antics. Trump’s latest controversy, the leaked tape where Trump can be heard making lewd and sexually aggressive comments about women, was apparently the last straw for Beck.

The endorsement may not be a surprise to many as Beck recently described Trump as a Hitler-like psychopath and compared his followers to Nazi Brownshirts. Not to mention the time when Beck covered his face in a bowl of crushed Cheetos to see if he could “look like Donald Trump.”

Beck spoke publicly about his choice stating, “The alternative does not offer a moral person the same opportunity.” The Facebook post continued, “If one helps to elect an immoral man to the highest office, then one is merely validating his immorality, lewdness, and depravity.”

Beck also states that Clinton’s policies can be blocked once she is in office and that Republicans don’t have to vote for Trump in order to stop Clinton.

He added: “Trump stepping down does not guarantee a Clinton win, but it does guarantee that the Republican party still stands for something, still allows its members to maintain (their) own self-respect and that it still has a future.”

Beck is only the latest prominent Republican to distance himself from Trump after his predatory comments were leaked.

House Speaker Paul Ryan announced Monday that he would no longer campaign for or defend Trump after the degrading remarks were leaked. It all but seems that the Republican party has turned their back on their presidential candidate. It will be interesting how the next month transpires for Mr. Trump.
