CNN isn’t really known for their strong criticism of the current administration. However, with the Obama admin winding down, it looks like the network is stepping up and calling the Obama admin on a series of damning lies. [Scroll Down For Video]

As Jake Tapper says to start the video, this is an obvious cover up and scrubbing of the public record by the Obama administration that should anger and outrage every American.

Remember, we aren’t talking about Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, or Breitbart here. No, as their popular station identification goes, “This is CNN.”

You’ve probably heard about the deleted press briefing tape in which State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki acknowledged that the State Department lied about secret, bilateral negotiations with Iran saying, “Sometimes diplomacy needs privacy in order to progress.”

Well, maybe that’s understandable. The State Department didn’t talk about an active negotiation while it was going on. This happens in law enforcement and court proceedings all of the time in order to maintain the integrity of the situation. Fine.

However, as Tapper says, lets fast forward. Several years later while reviewing the tape it was obvious that the admission by Psaki had been deleted from the publicly available archive video for that day’s press briefing.

Now we don’t have an active negotiation being protected. We have the currently in charge administration attempting to edit history and make themselves look more favorable.

Current State Department spokeswoman Elizabeth Trudeau only acknowledged that there was “a glitch in the State Department video.”

Now, just this week, State Department spokesman John Kirby acknowledged that the video was purposefully edited due to a request and was an obvious attempt to change the public record.

So, to recap, the Obama administration lied to the American people at least three different times just on this one issue alone.

When asked who requested the edit on the video the editor of the video could only say that the request came from the Public Affairs Bureau. Psaki, who is now part of the White House staff, denies making the request. Kirby went on to say that there were no rules on editing public videos in the past so there is no need to push on with a more thorough investigation.
