Donald Trump is going viral. Again. Once again, it’s not for the best reason. During a campaign speech earlier today, Trump made some comments about the Second Amendment, Hillary Clinton, the Supreme Court, and gun owners. Here is what Trump said: [Scroll Down For Full Video of Comments]

Trump Clinton

“Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment. By the way, and if she gets to pick … her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment, people, maybe there is, I don’t know, but I tell you what, that will be a horrible day.”

It’s obviously impossible to know exactly what Trump meant, but the internet wasted no time in making assumptions.

One person seemed to recognize the problem with Trump’s comments pretty much immediately and was captured on video reacting to them:

Trump’s campaign has already issued a statement:

“It’s called the power of unification ― Second Amendment people have amazing spirit and are tremendously unified, which gives them great political power,” Miller said in a statement. “And this year, they will be voting in record numbers, and it won’t be for Hillary Clinton, it will be for Donald Trump.”

The Clinton camp also responded to the comments:

“This is simple: What Trump is saying is dangerous. A person seeking to be the president of the United States should not suggest violence in any way.”

Several news outlets reached out to the Secret Service to see if they were looking into the statements at all, but so far they have made no comment.
