Nearly all major news agencies have issued a prediction for the South Carolina Democratic primary just minutes after polls closed. It looks like it’s a landslide.
Exit polls have Clinton winning the state by almost 25%.
The contest could show what many people have long predicted – Bernie Sanders is not a viable candidate in most states. This is the second state in a row that Clinton has won. She took Nevada last week after Sanders took New Hampshire the week before that.
Clinton won the Iowa Caucuses, but the race was so close it was a virtual tie.
With her large number of already pledged super delegates Clinton now has a commanding lead in the Democratic race.
