According to several sources with ABC Politics and others, Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, is officially facing a battery charge due to the incident that occurred with then Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields several weeks ago.
Fields and at least one other witness allege that Lewandowski pulled Fields by the arm as she attempted to ask Donald Trump a question.
She claims she was nearly pulled to the ground and ended up with bruises on her arm. The Trump campaign has denied the incident.
Several cameras captured video and photos of the minutes around the incident, but none of them have a clear view of exactly what happened until a new video was released today that seems to clearly show Lewandowski grabbing fields by the arm.
Lewandowski is being ordered to appear in Jupiter, Florida in May to answer for the misdemeanor charge.
