You think paratroopers are scary to enemies of freedom? Try para-Hummers.
This video featuring members of the 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment and four of the armored Hummer’s being dropped by parachute into combat from a C-17 Globemaster III.
The 509th is the first paratrooper unit of the United States Army to make a combat jump during World War II. The unit also boasts the first American paratrooper to be awarded the Medal of Honor – Paul Huff for actions taken on 29 February 1944 in Anzio, Italy.
