Fitness models make their livings by keeping their bodies in tip-top shape. It should come as no surprise that a fitness model would then show off her body and blast out updates on her physical condition, especially after a pregnancy.

Yet it wasn’t her body that was attracting attention when model Chontel Duncan posted this image on Instagram.

In her post, she bragged about her baby Miah. Duncan claimed she didn’t care about how she looked after pregnancy. Her scars and stretch marks from pregnancy were worth it, as she had a happy child.

Yet her audience wasn’t pleased. It wasn’t the post-pregnancy body that upset them. It wasn’t even the obvious commercial endorsement for the crop-top. It was how she seemed to have her priorities misplaced.

Most of the comments focused on the child’s neck.

But some hit Duncan’s parenting pretty hard.

After all the hate, Duncan reposted a revised image.

The caption read:

“Reposting this due to the number of dumb dumbs ripping on my first image… Sorry but I’m not going to be nice about what I think about your belittling attempts to educate me on the safety or better yet my intentions as a new mum. Anyways…

“It’s easier to repost then to tag everyone considering the comments are over the thousand. As explained earlier Miah lifted his head up an for that second that he did so, I just happened to have caught it on camera, before he then laid his head back down on my chest.

“New borns can lift their own heads up its not me standing there with his head flicked back shooting away.”

After all of the criticism, Duncan encourages all of her haters to stop following her. That might be one option to keep the haters off her back, but it may not solve all of her problems.
