Finally, your wish has been granted — You can now get married at Taco Bell, just as you’ve always dreamed. Yes, you read that correctly. This summer Taco Bell is opening a 24-hour cantina and wedding chapel on the Las Vegas Strip.
The Taco Bell wedding package will set you back $600 and includes Taco Bell champagne flutes, “Just Married” t-shirts, a Taco Bell bow tie and garter, a Cinnabon Delights wedding cake and a wedding bouquet made of sauce packets. Furthermore, the lucky pair will receive a full ceremony with an officiant and their first meal as a married couple will be a Taco 12-Pack.
If you can’t afford the $600, but still want your fairy-tale Taco Bell wedding then don’t fret, you may still be in luck; to celebrate the opening of their wedding chapel, Taco Bell is sending one lucky couple on an all-expenses paid vacation to Las Vegas to become the first official Taco Bell-married newly weds.
To enter, all you need to do is create a 30-second video detailing how Taco Bell played a part in your relationship and add the hashtag #LoveAndTacosContest. Fans will be able to vote for their favorite entries beginning on March 1 and the winner will be selected by official Taco Bell judges. “Couples can come right in and order a wedding off of our menu,” said chief marketing officer Marisa Thalberg in a statement.
The lucky winners will receive the aforementioned package, plus airfares for six to Vegas, a catered dinner at the Taco Bell Cantina, professional wedding photography and videography, a room at Planet Hollywood, two tickets for the giant Ferris wheel at The Linq, a private pool cabana at the Planet Hollywood pool, a VIP table for six at Drai’s Nightclub, and two passes plus a $100 gift card to the Qua spa!
Realistically, there probably wasn’t a whole lot stopping you from getting legally married in a Taco Bell anyway, besides the fact that your wedding might be more than just a little bit disruptive for all staff and patrons who happened to be there at the time, but now that marriage will actually be blessed by Taco Bell and isn’t that what true love is really about?
