With the 2016 presidential election completed, people aren’t quite as adamant about politics as they were during the campaign and the first few days after the election. Unless you’re a Democrat, that is. Many Democrats are still out there marching and chanting, “Not my president.” Now, a new book has come out that will offer guidance and unity to the fractured Democratic party.

Michael J. Knowles, the author of a new book called, “Reasons to Vote for Democrats: A Comprehensive Guide,” has taken Amazon by storm in the last few weeks. So much so, that it reached number four on the best-seller list.
What makes this 226 page in-depth book special is that the book is blank. Totally blank.
Knowles spoke to “Fox & Friends” on Thursday to promote his new book with an effective marketing strategy. “What’s really great about this book, you can go cover-to-cover in about 15, 20 seconds,” he said.
The spoof book was Knowles’ attempt at showing other Americans that the Democratic party has lost its way and that they no longer know what Americans really want. During the interview, Knowles also cited the extensive research he put into the book.
“It took a very long time to research this book,” Knowles said. “I’ve been observing the Democratic Party for at least 10 years now and when I observed their record and reasons to vote for them – on reasons of economics or foreign policy or homeland security or civil rights and so on – I realized it was probably best to just leave all the pages blank.”
Conservative journalists and pundits alike have been discussing the book and its author. Republicans began writing reviews praising the book and giving it multiple stars on Amazon’s site. Many bought the book to give to the Democrats in their lives or hyped the book hoping the unsuspecting Democratic reader would buy it, not realizing the book is actually blank.
The book was being sold for $9.99 on Amazon at the time of release, but since Knowles is a nice guy, he decided to drop it down to $7.09 to make it easier for readers to purchase it.
But that isn’t to say you won’t be getting anything when you purchase the book. There is actually an extensive bibliography the author says he used for his research.
This book is a novel idea. Since there is no way to spin the Democratic party in a positive light these days, it looks like Knowles went with what his mother taught him. “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all.”
