13-year-old Bryce Hayashi decided to find out what happens when you set up in front of legendary composer John Williams’ home and let loose with one his classic movie themes?

With the help of flugelhorn player Michael Miller (yeah, that’s a thing), the teenager set up a music stand with the sheet music to the Star Wars theme and let loose.

About a minute in to the song, the front door opens and the 84-year-old Oscar winning composer peeks his head out to see what’s going on.

Williams even took time to joke with the guys about hitting the high notes saying, “I started to listen and thought, oh they will never make it, but they did!”

The icon of movie music then shook their hands, telling them, “That’s fantastic. Great job.”

The tandem certainly had a lot of options when choosing which song to play, as Williams has win five Oscars, four Golden Globes, seven British Academy of Film awards, and 22 Grammy’s. He’s been nominated a whopping 50 times for an Oscar, making him the second most nominated man – behind only Walt Disney himself.

They certainly beat this guy, who tried to impress the internet with his cover of the Jurassic Park theme and, well… you decide how he did.
