It looks like Jeep is continuing to turn heads with their latest announcement. Earlier this year many people took notice of Jeep’s plan to release a new pickup truck and now Jeep is following that up with a brand new Grand Cherokee.
This edition seems to be getting back to its roots as a legit off-road ready SUV that is equally at home as a daily driver.
Road and Track took an educated guess at what will be behind the latest Cherokee:
We don’t have any powertrain details yet, but expect the same 3.6 liter Pentastar V6, 3.0 liter diesel V6 and 5.7 liter Hemi V8 from the regular Grand Cherokee models to appear in the Trailhawk, along with the eight-speed automatic.
