Bugatti introduced the world to the Chiron today, just ahead of the Geneva Motor Show. And the Bugatti’s big brother is an even bigger beast.
With a $2.6 million starting pricetag and an electronically limited top speed of 261 miles per hour, the Chiron is the new king of the road. Going 0-125mph in 6.5 seconds thanks to the 1,478 horsepower W-16 pushing it’s massive 4,400 pound bulk across the ground faster than many motorcycles.
The list of technological marvels on the Chiron are seemingly endless – a new design in turbochargers, a new design in exhaust technology, a water pump running 200 gallons per minute through the cooling system – but more importantly.. it looks amazing:
As Wolfgang Dürheimer, President of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S., said at the debut:
It is part of human nature to cross boundaries and set new records – to run 100 m faster than ever before, to fly even further into space and to enter new realms. This striving is also our driving force at Bugatti.
